Hellooooooo my Darlin Dears, Fellow Meadow creatures & Gnomes whom shall build me a barn in return for cookies,
Miss Lamb your pumpkin pickin and Honey Harvesting farmer here:)
There are a few things that have been in my lovely mind....a few items I honestly NEED for Early Bird Acres & myself:)
#1. I would like a dinner bell for just outside my door:)
Maybe one of these:)
Or this hilarious one....I bet the pig might like it:)
#2. This Adorable Jumper
The other day I was in Shop Good in Okc and fell in love with nearly every item in the store, but namely this Romper:)
I just adored how lovely and light it was:) I do not wear many jumpers..mostly just spring cotton dresses... but this would be different:)
#3. A very large barn with a hay loft:)
I want to sleep in the hay loft above, and look down on my animals
#4. Lovely Milk Goats
I have one goat named bear, but I want to expand my dairy buisness from my cows, to milk goats:) Right now, I just help out a goat dairy...they do hand milking for the most part and goodness gracious can I milk now....I shake hands with these old farmers and they say "Boy howdy girl...you got a shake" :)
#5. A lovely glass greenhouse
I know that Oklahoma is prone to hail storms...but you know what...I want a glass greenhouse anyways:) I will probably build mine out of old windows and such, but I am happier than a peach to get started on it:)
..............
There are other things I want of course....raised beds, a huge herb garden with a white cottage fence keeping it all in....a vacation to go salmon fishing in Montana...but it shall just haft to wait...one thing at a time:)
............
In other news, I canned up a storm yesterday and today I sold my sweet pickles at the farmers market...but of course I forgot my camera, but here is a picture with my phone:)
I hope you all have a lovely day darlin dears:) I am going to do some work in the garden and then hopefully go fishing with Harold:) I hope he does not eat my fish this time:)
Making you a peach pie, hidden veggies and pumpkins in July

Tine!!:) Yours should be to, as long as they do not decide pictures are illegal to send across the ocean:) Your lovely icon reminds me that pumpkins are almost ready in the garden:) what is the weather like over there?:)
I think your life on the farm sounds so magical!
I just planted a herb garden yesterday in my little courtyard (in pots), I chose ones that smell nice and have pretty flowers :) I hope they will grow!
Lyndall- Ohhhhh I just cant wait to get started on a large Herb garden...the plan is to have everything in that area be edible...the flowers and the Herbs...even the grass:) I hope you have a lovely coming week:)
Maybe we need to get all the artists in Oklahoma City together and have an old fashioned Barn Raisin'!
Weather report from Denmark:
Grey skies. Rain. A bit of sun. A lot more rain. Temperature in the seventies *if* we're really lucky.
Hope you've had a lovely weekend. It's been rather sad here - don't know if the news from Norway have made it all the way to Oklahoma? (my mother's Norwegian so it's all a bit too close for comfort)
Oh, I am anxious to see lovely photos of a greenhouse made of old windows and a picket-fence herb garden! What could be more sweet? You are such an inspiration, Miss Lamb!
Oh I do hope you paint your barn that wonderful shade of yellow! I've never seen such a golden and sunny barn!!
M Tim Blake-Ya know what...that is in the talks good sir:) Or at least some kind of festive get together..maybe a barn dance?:)
Tine-PLEASE send some of that rain this way...we are in a 3 month drought..in the middle of summer...with 105 temps nearly every day...goodness gracious..
I did here about Norway...my heart goes out to those individuals who are suffering with loss....just crazy and heartbreaking..
Leanne D-no no no....YOU are to sweet:) Sweeter than a peach for all of your kind words:) I hope it all comes to fruition very soon:)
Kathrine- I think my barn would be white and green....or blue and green:) Ooohhh I cant decide...I just want a barn!!:)
