Sustain... a whole-hearted effort:)

Hello my Darlin Dears, wonderful meadow creatures that burrow in the rich top-soil and look for forgotten Potatoes & you wonderful Gnomes who are currently helping me write a letter to good old Congressman Frank Lucas... while sipping on Sand Plum wine from the north orchard,

Miss Lamb your very busy & light filled farmer here,

I am very happy to say.... as happy as a whole darn peach orchard in fact... to announce that I have taken on the position as the "Oklahoma Organizer" for the Young Farmers Coalition

What is that exactly you may ask?:)

Well, this means I am going on a adventure. A shared adventure. I hope to find all of you amazing young farmers across Oklahoma whom believe in Sustainable Agriculture & really want to make a difference.

What can you do to help?

From time to time, I shall be doing my best to inform you all on the issues at hand and actions you can take to help Young Farmers & Sustainable Agriculture here in Oklahoma, and across the nation....& let me remind you...a Young Farmer does not haft to be young.... You could be any age & just beginning my loves:)

It could be something as small as writing a letter, making your own post about a issue close to your heart dealing with Agriculture... we want it all:)

If you are interested in helping me out, or want me to chit chat with you about what you can do to help to help get necessary bills passed, you are welcome to e-mail me at earlybirdacres@gmail.com

............................................

In other News, I am glad to share with you all a Agrarian article I wrote for Twenty-Something magazine :) it says a lot about my heart, & you should all check it out:) It is in the Newest Issue:)

......................................

Harvest went AMAZING..... our average was 57 bushels an acre loves.... just amazing:)

Gosh It has been a fulfilling month:)

Ooohhh so much I want to say, but I shall save it for another post:)

I send you a lovely evening in the garden & a kiss on each of your foreheads :)

Blackberries, Goat cheese & adding these together to make your favorite pie,

Miss Samantha Joelle Honey Lamb

Sam, this is so exciting. I always knew you were going to change the world.
I don't know where I'm heading next, but since I can write from anywhere, I'm seriously thinking of following in your very young footsteps and finding a place where I can be self-sustaining.
You're an inspiration.

Not sure if I am knowledgeable enough to write anything that would help, but let me know more about writing a letter of support. I'd love to!!
